I kinda liked my Honestech TVR 2.5, until I saw that, simply because their device is discontinued, Honestech no long provides software for it either. Smooth move, Honestech.

I cannot download honestech TVR, I downloaded it before but I uninstalled it because problems, now I try to install again and I always get an error "the version comparison has failed, the set-up will terminate now. What to do?

I have intall Honestech TVR Tuner 2.5 in my window 8 laptop. My USB TV tuner is working fine but audio not listenly clearly Or audio comeing in cuting when I watch TV.

If your tvr can generate the tv signals and it appears on your screen, then you probably have to use another software that can capture video like VLC player.

I got Honestech TVR Tuner 2.5 in my computer with Winxp proffessional. My USB TV tuner is working fine except sound or no audio, when I watch TV.

This problems occurs when you will insert honestech stick when computer is booting, now uninstalled the software & re installed it, connect USB stick after booting the computer, you will hear the audio also.

I've tried installing it on 7 and it gives me a BSOD, even with compatibility mode. However, version 2.0 works on 7 without any issues whatsoever (other than the fact that my copy was only a free trial).
